  • Dependence on Agent’s Availability: Many real estate agents work alone. One of the big challenges with this is scheduling. Whether they are too busy, under motivated or away they may not be able to be available when you need them. Your timeline might depend on how busy your agent is.

Going solo has its advantages:

  • Down Markets: Real estates agents can get creative with how they market your property in a down market to encourage a successful sale when others are unable to move forward.
  • First-Time Buyers/Sellers: If you’re new to the game, an agent can guide you through the complexities and make sure you are protected.
